TEACH YOURSELF THE GOSPEL SERIES |
| We
believe the key to being a believer of the Lord Jesus Christ
is to grow in the knowledge of him. According to the bible, we grow through
reading and studying the word of the Lord.
These are a series of lessons,
written by our pastor, that you can read and study online.
They are part of his
Teach Yourself the Gospel Series.

BIBLE STUDY |
|
Currently we are studying the Tabernacle. We are using
the book,
Revealing Christ in the Tabernacle written by Keith Moore,
as a study guide.

BIBLE STUDY GOAL: To
gain an in depth understanding of the organization and
operation of the New Testament Church.
STUDY
METHOD: Alternates between Chapter-by-chapter study of
an entire book, pastoral teaching series, and ministerial
staff edification studies.
We value the
study of God's Word and believe it is the key to equipping
believers to experience the victorious overcoming life that
Jesus came to give us.
| John 10:10 The thief
cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy:
I am come that they might have life, and that they might
have it more abundantly. 2
Tim 2:15 Study to show thyself approved unto God, a
workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing
the word of truth. |

SUNDAY SCHOOL |
|
Currently we are studying the book of
Genesis. Our text
book is
Genesis, LifeChange Bible
Study Series (ISBN: 089109069X) from the LifeChange
series from NAVPRESS, A Ministry of the Navigators.
While you may think
that studying the old testament it boring and uninteresting,
it is quite the opposite. The basis for every principle
of God can be found in Genesis, everything from sin and
salvation to love and marriage. Understanding the
purpose is valuable to our ability to apply the principles of
God to everyday life.
Our Sunday
school is designed to promote Christian growth and
understanding. We use these particular guides because
their purpose are to "help you grow in Christ-likeness
through a life-changing encounter with God's Word.
Sunday school
hours are 9:30 - 10:30 a.m.
Classes are
also offered for children and youth.

2008 THEME |
Our Vision for
2008 is "THE YEAR OF THE WORD".
Now that we have been restored, God wants us now to put the
word that we have received to work. For those just
getting started, he wants you to immerse yourself in getting
knowledge of him.
Our them for this year is "NEW
BEGINNINGS" (St John 1:1-14, 2 Corinthians 5:17).
As 7 represents completeness, 8 in the bible represents new
beginning. This is the 8th year of this century and I
sense that God is giving many of us new opportunities to
grow new areas after the successes we experienced in 2007.
God desires for you to make the most of
this opportunity. to accomplish that, we need to move
forward not looking back (Phil 3:14-15). We need to
leave the past frustrations, hurts, and pains in our past so
that we can see the bright future that God has in store.
God wants us to focus on the Word. the Word will
cause our faith to grow (Romans 10:17) and heal, restore,
and set free (St John 8:32). the key to victory will
be mixing the word with faith (Hebrew 4:2). the word
is key because it provides knowledge, without which, we
would be destroyed (Hosea 4:6). |
